Jacek
Hello! My name is Jacek and while originally from Poland, I moved to the USA in my twenties and have since raised a family of three daughters and many dogs with my wife in Colorado. In my free time I love to be outside, climb, and simply see new things. Adventure has always been a part of my life, and my wife and I's curiosity about the world is what first brought me to Tanzania, where I met Rocky. We quickly became friends. I saw in him someone who is deeply dedicated to his work—honest, hardworking, and guided by strong values. I knew immediately that this was something I wanted to support and be a part of. I fell in love with the beauty of Tanzania and created lasting memories there with my family. Now, I want to share the same unforgettable experiences with others and help continue building the passion behind this project. A little fun fact about this company, my family and I named it Moyo Safari after a dog we met during our trip—his name was Moyo. He was incredibly sweet and became one of our favorite memories from our time in Tanzania. It felt especially meaningful because “Moyo” translates to heart. There is so much heart and love behind our trip to Tanzania and this company we’ve built, so the name felt like the perfect reflection of our experience and our mission.

Rocky
My name is Rogathe Joshua Bayo, and I was born in 1992 in the Karatu District of the Arusha region. I grew up in my village, but I now live in Arusha with my wife and our two children. I moved to the city to pursue my dream of earning a degree in tourism—and today, I’m proud to have over six years of experience in the field. I’m passionate about safari guiding and love capturing the beauty of the landscapes and wildlife through photography. I enjoy every part of this work: experiencing true wilderness, sharing local culture, and using my special talent for spotting birds. Most of all, I love welcoming clients and sharing these moments together. By the end of a safari, it often feels like we’ve created one big family.
